Important question: Is this game a "live service"?

I tried looking this up online to no avail, and I'm trying to justify a possible purchase of this game in the future. So far, I have more reasons NOT to buy this game, and I'm wondering if the final nail in the coffin is going to end up being an online-only requirement.

The list of reasons to buy so far are as follows:
+ Two classic games in one package
+ Added features like extra characters, maps, and modes
+ It wasn't made by EA or DICE

And the list of reasons not to buy this game:
- 50 GIGABYTES OF STORAGE SPACE??? ARE YOU HIGH???
- Old existing games are way cheaper and take way less space
- 35 dollar price tag is a tall ask for a duology that's been dead since 2004
- No observable improvements to graphical fidelity, not even texture resolutions
? May or may not be an unoptimized glitchy mess at launch, it's a coin-toss here
? May or may not be an online only live service (<--- Please shed some light here)

I highly doubt they'll make it into any sort of live service since they are doing the bare minimum to make this new version to begin with. They're probably gonna port it and be done with it.

There hasn't been any mention of it being a live service that I have come across.
Though if its like the original it has offline modes.

That's what I'm counting on. The bare minimum of just porting the old games over with all their features intact. Loved conquest mode.

i think people should set their expectations based on the title: "classic collection". i think many are assuming it's a remaster which, if it was, should have been put in the title of the game.

Many think it is a remaster but there has been nothing mentioning it even is.
