Except for the new maps and new heros and other content they might add that differs from the OG counter part /shrug
Also never said my only intended purpose was solo play just that this version offers more in terms of solo play vs 2017 which is a selling point for me not that I wouldnt ever do online play with it but its nice to just vibe out alone and not be rained down on by sweats .
However I'll consider the collection worthwhile if everything properly works on modern systems with functional, smooth multiplayer.
But $35 for a port with minimal updates I'm expecting it to work pretty damn smoothly.
Yeah but my experience with the OG version on steam is that its been broken so I wouldnt even considering trying to mod it as its a mess in its abandoned state. also its my hope that this version will have more polish and better control set up the OG port is almost unplayable for me anyways and I bought the OGs on a deep sale that costed me next to nothing so I am not to pressed on the price tag however I can see why others would be,
The solo more bot stuff you still have to have online players with you in a 4 coop group and the maps and content for it felt limited in the 2017 vs in comparison also I really dont like the star fighter stuff in the 2017 version much as I did in the old I get what youre saying but the OG felt like it had more options and variety of things to please every aspect for every player vs heavy more online only sided 2017 version.
Exactly I remember playing BF 1 on xbox live as a pre teen it was wild and fun of course but the option to do online an solo is just more preferred for my tastes is all nothing is really wrong with either or.
If classic BF feels like Battlefield - then EA's BF feels more like a CoD.
You know they brought back Instant Action in EA's game, right? Someone didn't do their research.
