It is worth it to pre order for online?

Considering buying this masterpiece, but I'm afraid that the game will die in the first couple of months with no more players. What do you guys think? I just wanna spend my money on it if the online life span last very long.

the only benefit to preorder is the 10% discount or 20% if you own the previous, it has no bearing on online

only reason would be to get more populated servers for probably a short period of time.
And steam deck play.

Can always refund if youre dissapointed

I'm only really buying for the Online Play. Single-player content and private matches with friends will be a nice bonus of course. I just hope that the netcode is better for online play than Classic BF2 (2005). I try to play on the one full server that still remains - only to find it to be a rubber banding nightmare of great proportions.

Same, but I also mainly purchased this for the mp and it was relatively cheap with the discount in my country.

I'm putting my money where my mouth is whenever I keep saying "I would rather buy the game no matter how old as long as it is accessible to the public. If this is their answer to giving us a complete OG Battlefront Package as opposed to trying to force update the original releases from 2000s then sure but no more than $40 will come from me for it.
