Why is the game unlocking so late?

what timezone?
its 12am for east coast canada and america which would be the 14th for us
and 9pm pst for west coast america and canada.

mean while its either earlier or later in eu and asia.
usually nz which gets any game earlier most of the time.

because in west coast its still the 13th since 12am eastern is 9pm pst therefore its the 14th on the east and 13th on the west coast, when the game launches, which honestly imo should be 3am est and 12am pst but timezones are weird.

the whole changing timezones to unlock a game early wont work if you didnt buy the game on a new zealand account which would also need to be released for it to work.

You understand the world is bigger than your country right? And that timezones exist? Like in the UK it's going to release at 4am on Thursday. So no one in the UK will be playing this until Thursday morning.

It releases in 17 hours as of this post yes. So 4am on the 14th (Thursday). But it has always said 14th for us as the release date.
