I guess just...level up and hope someone else learns a damage spell? But that's gonna take a long a*s time with how slowly battles will go if you're not hitting elemental weaknesses.
Stay strong brotha, hopefully the game devs will have a bit of mercy on players and patch this nonsense.
But if you don't want to wait, craft a demon catcher in your room. It has a 100% demon catching rate (except Elite and Bosses) and that should allow you to jump start your demon taming career.
We're sorry that you have encountered issues with the monster taming.. We are working on making these aspects clearer for the players in future patches.
Few tips to help you:
1- You can only tame a 'downed' demon and it must be the last standing demon or all the demons must be downed with the demon to try to capture.
2- To down a demon you must use an element the demon is weak to (as you have learned on the video). You can look at the stats of each demon during combat.
3- There are some rare items that help you with the capturing aspects Demon Catcher & knock-out items
Hope this helps :)
I have a question regarding point 1. From my experience, player can tame monsters by downing all the demons (no matter how many are still standing/alive). Is that not how it is supposed to work?
(Of course the player can only tame one demon after which the Down status disappears for the remaining demons).
don't worry as u progress this gets much easier (i'm 12 hours in and am finally getting them almost every round), especially with the tools u can make to help that the dev mentioned above. knock out bombs are great...if the last one standing has low enough health, use that and as long as he isn't too high of level u should get them each time.
It was a miss-use of words on my side (I've edited my post), you can indeed capture a demon while other demons are still alive but they all must be downed. Which in my opinion is more complicated than to defeat all the demons you do not want and only keep the one you wish to capture.
