*Shroom Meadow* Sidequest help

Hey all, spoiler ahead for this side quest.

When you decipher where the treasure is.. It tells you that it's in the woods, near the lake, to the west. However the lake is on the East side of the map from the mushrooms. I cannot for the life of me find this treasure. Is the text wrong or am I just out of my mind

I found the answer by accident. Spoiler marked below

It's right outside of their walkway on the dirt road.

Walk out west from the mushrooms. its as soon as you enter the road go south. I dont know how to attach a screenshot in here.

I think you need to decipher their riddle before it will trigger the scene

kk i did decipher the riddle but hadn't gone down southish...i'll give it a go in the morning, thanks so much!

Just found out you don't have to look for the treasure yourself and walk around the map!

1. Solve the riddle, learn mushrooms' names (haven't written them down, sorry)
2. Ask blue mushroom about the treasure, perform check successfully to find out he's lying
3. Tell the mushrooms you know where the treasure is and that the blue one is lying (I think it's the most important step)
4. Walk away from their meadow through the bottom ''exit'', cutscene should trigger

interesting..wonder, do u still get 'the treasure'?

here are the names i wrote down that worked in case anyone gets easily confused like myself.. Blue- Bruno / Red- Boris / White- Barney

this ^ helped me, i had solved the riddle about who was who and where the treasure was but didn't hit the prompt saying i now knew where it was, then that gave me the choice to choose Bruno

really?
i know the yellow one is what the game consider to be the 'white' one.

i would think they would all be the same. weird.

yeah i realized half into their crazy convo i needed to write them down caz i was so confused lol.
