Best way to find scrap?

It seems you need scrap for bait and lock picking. Has anyone found an efficient way to acquire it? Thanks! Loving the game so far.

The best way is probably just to spend a day working and get 6 Bucks so you can purchase them for 12 Cents each.

I'm not sure yet if the bits are different but the bait you can buy at the docks is 10 cent.

Where do you buy it?

The bail at the dock where you learn fishing. the scrap.. I think it is in a store to the right of the supermarket job, but not sure and atm not in-game.
