Reading bug

I got a lot books, but I can'r read neither of them. Is there something I need to learn before reading or it's simply existing a bug?

Thank you. I find sometime it works but another day I can't read sitting before desk for no reason. Still get no clue how the bug occur.

I also cannot read at my desk, screen fades like it is going to give me options but none come up
