Bug - Controller does not always work

Sometimes, my Xbox controller works on the first prompt in the menu, the one which ask to press any button but after it doesn't work anymore.

Update, I tried on the same Windows Session to launch another 2D game in my Steam Library and my Xbox Controller works fine, also it's detected by Windows.
I confirm that the first input in Lost Castle 2 works, but not the others.

Okey I manage to bypass it by clicking the option setting in the main menu; go to controller options and I tried to rebind a button after it my controller seems to works fine in game.
