MOWAS vs MOWAS2 (performance, gameplay etc)

I need your help community!

I have MOWAS2 for some time. I like the game quite a bit, but the performance of the game for me is pure garbage. My rig, game setup, drivers updates etc is not the problem so please take it out of the equation. I'm not the only one having such a problems on good rig.
So my question for owners of both MOWAS and MOWAS2 is:
How's MOWAS vs MOWAS2 in the performance? Do any of you have bad performance in MOWAS2 but no problems in MOWAS? Is anyone having performance issues with MOWAS on good rig?
And seccond question:
Is MOWAS *MUCH* better/worse than MOWAS2 in gameplay or is it almost the same?

the performance is definitely tougher.. the issues we run into in AS2 weren't as prevalent in AS1..... having said that if you say your "rig" is good.... than you shouldn't have problems with the game... which leads me to think you don't understand why your having problems in MP, which than leads me to believe you don't understand that other players with crap "rigs" have the issues causing your games to lag, which you don't understand...

correct me if I am wrong.

the only solution is to kick these players... after 600ish games in as2.. I have learned 2 bars or more is a good game.... anything under is horrible.. and every player with 1 or 0 bars will claim they don't "lag" because their full of ♥♥♥♥ and have never played a smooth AS2 game before.

I play this on a laptop, with a 2GB Nvidia 770M at 1080p, with every setting maxed, no issues at all.

The game runs great for me, of course in terms of looks as2 looks much better than as1 so just going about and comparing performance without mentioning the fact how each game looks at higher settings is not fair. Now, I admit I have a pc thats most likely above average but still its not top of the line by any means, i7 4770k, 290x and ssd drive.

You are right, I'm not sure how MP hosting works here. Is the one who is creating match hosting and responsible for performance or everyone playing? Because now after reinstaling game on SSD in SP I have really nice performance but in the MP it's unplayable. Usually game is hosted by my friends with 2bars but even when I have hosted game once (all bars) the game was still stuttering like hell all the time. And I'm not talking about connection lags, those also occur somethimes, but rarely (and I'm playing almost only MP in all games and never have had any problems with connection lags or high ping). I'm talking about fps drops and constatnt video stuttering.

Yes. It didn't help. But if the game runs smoothly in SP it shouldn't be the problem. It was when I had game on HDD so now since it's on SSD I can try again with the beta patch... But I don't count on it ;) But thanks for idea anyway.

Once again.. for maybe the 50th time... mp performance is not measured by your cpu alone.. if you and 4 other people have good setups 4 pc perf bars in mp, yet play with 1 person who has ♥♥♥♥ pc and 0 pc perf bars, ALL of you will run at his slow speed and the game will run like ♥♥♥♥. These people will also claim they don't lag, since they have nothing to compare to, they have never played a smooth mp game in mowas2. Spiking ping also doesn't help.. but that is somewhat different.

Monitor who you play with. Play a 2v2 with all good pc perfs and the game should run better with less lag/stutter. Also double check your pc perf. 3 or 4 bars is very good.

Yup, I have 4 bars all the time. So now when I know how MP works I'll keep an eye on others bars. Thanks Simers!

Np man.. hit me up and we can test together... best way is to host games so you can determine who plays based on perf. Also with your high pc perf it will help stabilize match.
