Why no AI for Frontlines and Combats?

I feel that it would be really popular in the frontlines option and wonder why there is no option for it.

I think the problem of Frontline is AI doesn't know how to build proper defense.
I am no modder, but I beleive Dev can work around this problem by scripting defense like single player skrmish mode...

well the Intelligence in AI is far for what I want but I do want an opponent that keeps counter attacking and has sites defended. So if they would I'd be so happy!
