My men of war AS2 won't install
Everytime i attempt to install men of war it stops at 3% and presents me with "disc write error"
I have i tried everything that it said about this error on the steam website but sadly it did not help
also have restarted steam and the download multiple times. Any help will be appreciated!

Well, without having to reinstall all of your games, I would suggest deleting all files and folders in steam EXCEPT steamapps & steam exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam

Have you tried disabling your firewall / anti virus temporarily? See if it is causing any information blockage. Other than that, it seems to be an issue with steam or the pc itself, I would have to recommend that you enter a steam support ticket.

If there's a disk write error, it would probably mean it has a bad sector somewhere that it wants to write to. I assume you have a HDD and not a SSD, try running a disk check. If it does find a problem it'l either try to fix it, or it'l mark the sector as unusable. Either way this is a good way to check whats wrong. The way you get to it, if you didn't know is dependent on the OS, but for any version of windows before windows 8 is Computer ->Right click on Disk (whichever one you are trying to install to)-> properties -> one of the tabs should contain a (check disk for errors button-> click it -> it will say a restart is needed, let it-> wait for it to complete the check-> if it comes up with an error, and does something to fix it, try installing once said fix is applied.

Looks like you fixed it.

From what I have discovered. There is tow options. Option 1 is you wait for it to install. This worked for my friend but you need to wait like 4 hours and that's good internet. Option 2 is a complete reinstalling of steam. <- i only put this here because it is the last of last options. good luck! :clonecc: Also if option one dosent move for about 30 min then it isnt working. If you need more help just ask
