Japan has some of the best AT inf in the game. The AT rifleman has a semi auto anti material rifle with 7 shots per round, and their bazooka inf has the longest range I beleive. Just spam those and make sure you win the early round and you shouldn't have to worry about tanks.
Get mortar at start and use it to clear flags
Get the 200mm artillery units as soon as you can since they are good for clearing enemy AT guns, japan also gets the 105mm artillery tank which is also nice to have for clearing infantry. Get more people to play with you to decrease the micro though.
They also got an 85 or 90mm AAgun, that shot long distance and fast.
The ♥♥♥♥ also got the games best mortar (the big one, 150mm or something) that can hide behind hard terrain (hills etc) and their top tier fantasy tanks are very good.
I´m talking of skirmish now.
there was a t70 rolling up, and i tried shooting it's tracks. it missed, and the t70 blew it up in a single shot :P
but i had a 5 star vet at rifleman though so i still killed it
5star vet AT rifle make me think that this is singleplayer?
Look at the path´s the AI uses and place your guns out for a turkey shoot, loose some cheap inf to the tanks, and BOOM. Use the minimap to see what the AI is doing.
Dont advance too fast, buy what you need while your ATguns get better and better.
Think the ♥♥♥♥ is the hardest and nost confusing nation to learn, but quite possible the strongest faction, but I´m not sure about that and single/multiplayer differs.
What I was talking about was the number of units on the map.
That cap that multplayer got thats limits the number you can have on the map at the same time.
You dont have this in larger scale single scenarios.
For me, this is more WW2 and I enjoy the larger battles more.
Of course there are other variants that other people likes better, nothing wrong with that.
The cp cap is per player - thus if you are playing a 4v4+ I assure you the # of units engaging in battle is much more than any vanilla singleplayer skirmish. Since there are more people moving units/taking cover/directing accurate fire as opposed to multiple AI units driving straight ahead as if they were suicide bombers not giving a fu-ck about death.. I'd say multiplayer is more realistic/like ww2 since some people try to avoid getting their tanks/troops shot up and attempt to utilize some sort of tactics. Your head should be on a swivel in large mplayer team games and with so many moving parts this creates more exciting gameplay imo.
The meat grinder boring stale gameplay of skirmish is not my thing - I do find it funny how you continuously comment about multiplayer yet don't even actively participate in it. I guess your into boring monotonous scripted dumb obvlivious suicidal AI gameplay.. that's cool.
