Enemy will spawn if you kill too many of them. They will come from the edge of the map, some are through bulidings. (They spawn very sneaky if you dont look closely)

Enemy will also spawn if you completed an ojbective. (Usually with tanks and half trucks)

Dont engage the patrols and you will have less enemy reinforcements from the edge of the map. Some enemy vehicles and men arrive throughout the mission anyway but you definately can make life a lot harder but going in all guns blazing.

Take out the MG nests, Take out the Snipers and then hit the tank depot hard and quick. If you engage the patrols you will find yourself in drawn out combat which will usually end with you being hunted around the map!

On Russian heroic sniper mission we had about 50 enemy in reinforcements, 2 King Tigers and multiple other armoured vehicles and tanks hunting us down. 2 men survived, it was epic!

The snipers are usually the guys standing by themselves, and not in the groups.

With your snipers, go into direct control, you can aim at places you believe the enemy is, it will show enemies where you are aiming if they are there.

Nope you can scout ahead with officers and binoculars and snipers with their scopes.

that's gona be easier in this way,by the way, could u pls tell me about the walking groups on map,are they respawning every time when they saw dead bodies or when i kill too many of them?Because mow vietnam used to have alarms or smth and i can understand if i've been seen or not,but here aren't any warnings(

In the sniper missions there is quite complex mechanic that determines if enemy calls reinforcements. Basically, anytime enemy spots a new dead body or new enemy recognizes/sees your soldier within certain range alert level slowly grows, the higher the alert level the chances of enemy reinforcements go up, however players progress % also guides this to a degree(there is also specific delay to prevent alert level to go up too fast for gameplay purposes). If you play smart and mostly snipe enemies and try not to engage in large firefights(mgs and other weapons attract enemies to engage you which in turn results in alert level counter to go up much faster). Sniping enemies at longer ranges such as 60+ usually means enemies dont notice you they just may get curious and run around AND usually an enemy will start to investigate dead bodies which also turns out makes them a good target:) In effect, there are many ways to go about the mission, for example one could try to stay away from armor location and clean up enemies slowly and as quietly as possible, and kill as many mgs/snipers as you can or try to make a way close to armor and possibly snipe crew/soldiers near the tanks at repair location. Be aware that there is quite a bit of randomization with reinforcements and patrols so there is a lot of luck involved too. For example if you hit something that causes fuel barrels to explode it may wake up sleeping eltie soldiers or alert the tank crew, if you capture enemy vehicle and drive too close to the armor location crew will notice it and also alert level will go up. Some of the sniper missions also have some random traffic around the map, some of those vehicles may contain something usefull sometimes too if captured.

Enemy reinforcements dont spawn because you killed guys, its based on alert level as explained above and player progress %. Further, until extraction flag is shown enemy reinforcements are finite although they may still be significant so plan accordingly.

I have played with some people who managed to decrew and capture enemy artillery vehicle, in another game players managed to detrack one of the enemy reinforcement tanks and then kill crew one by one as they try to repair, another game i seen people draw enemies to the fuel storage on sevastopol only to explode and burn 3 snipers in 1 go.... I seen number of various tricks. Its not easy but if you manage to kill all snipers or armor at armor location without buying any units you also get special buy(usually airstrike).

For players who get good hang of the game/vets I recommend trying the mission on hard/heroic with fog on too:)

Thats true of single player mode where at least at this time friendly fire cannot be turned on, however u could try and get it destroyed by enemy or flip it if possible, i know that causing explosion of something else like if u drop tnt around it and detonate those tnts with at nade or such that should do it. However, that objective is not required to win the mission.

As has been pointed out many times to me - try the Heroic missions in co-op mode or in single, by building your knowledge base slowly playing Normal, then Hard, then Heroic. I'm doing the same mission on Hard at the mo before attempting Heroic, but it ain't easy!! (pun intended) :)

i wish they would add a camera lock for direct control mode so when i move the mouse it does not move the whole screen left or right. sniper missions would be even more fun with a third person shooter view. being close is ok and all but still can't aim and the hud moves to much.
