Ha you get all those 250 units for a reasonable price in MoWAS2 , in company of heroes 2 you have to buy new commanders for 2.99 to get occassionally a (potential balance breaking)new unit, like a new kv1 tank or a veteran ace tiger. Quantity side you get an atomic bang for your buck in MoWAS2. And in MowAS2 you cannot dance like a pretty pony through machine gun fire.

Have a nice day

Have a nice day

The ranks of fascism grow day by day. Fuhrerzerg is coming.

The russian bear (cavalry) will weed them out once and for all time, thereby establishing the Eurasian Dynasty over Europe and Asia :)

MOW is much better, realistic, direct controll, everything is destructible, no frustrations by units who do not manage to kill enemies from 5 meter distance.... but the AI ist stupid.

But I'm not sure if AS2 its worth for owner of AS1

No they won't.

America will make them all gay, and Russia shall not breathe until they accept gayism.

I brought CoH 2 when it first came out, played 7 hours total same exact game, i had hundreds of hours in the first CoH when it first came out.. judging by the beta MoW AS2 will probably be the same secenario
Gay bear cavalry? Blasphemie! It is not called gay it is called bro like broseph stalin in russia.

Can't compare, COH just like clicking a button in the browser and that's it, but MOW is more like working with excel, its more depth and more detail. You can excel every single soldier with their weapons and ammo, while in COH you never need to worry about "out of ammo" situation. All I can say is COH is for rookies who doesn't like to think much and doing everything with one click but MOW is for expert to play. If you are expert enough you can even just destroy the enermy tank's turret and force the enermy to abandon their tank, so you can claim it, or hit its track to prevent it to advance. But it would never happen in COH, of cause you can claim the enermy tank in COH too, but you have to cross your finger first, cause it won't happen within your control. Also you can angle your tank to aviod being penetrade in MOW, but COH won't work in this tactic. So I would say MOW is more preferable if you are big fans with WW2 games.

I have COH2 and I can tell you its nothing like COH1 was, I was really disapointed, with that said, MOWAS2 is going to be a lot better, even MOWAS1 is better than COH2
Apples to oranges, really. COH is an arcade-style RTS; whereas, the MoW series is more of a simulation. It's kind of like comparing Ace Combat to an actual flight simulator, such as F-16 Falcon 2.0. Although both are great games, they offer completely different takes on air combat.

COH2 has a much more rapid pace than MoW, which I have found to be much more methodical.

People have complained about the single player campaign, but COH2 multiplayer is great and can make for some very intense battles (unless you get some douche with an OP dlc commander).

Of course, it ultimately comes down to your play style. Although I love MoW, I prefer the rapid pace of CoH.
MoW, from what I can tell having played Vietnam briefly, is very very complex.

COH 2?

It's less complex, way less, you click units position them and watch things unfold, you cant use one unit and defeat 100.
Also id like to point out that coh seems very pro allies like they didnt commit war crimes it was another thing that turned me off about coh 2 and one of the many reasons i did not buy it. theres multiple sides to a war and i wont buy a game that leans so far to the right. the trailer for coh 2 glorifys the allied side and it kinda turned me off from the series
These games don't really oppose each other, or at least they shouldn't, since they're completely differently aimed initialy, and the only real common thing in them is the WW2 thematics.

IMHO, CoH was a solid arcadish RTS, CoH 2 is almost a fail though - almost nothing new, but it's priced as if it were Starcraft 2: Wings of the Void with lifetime MP support etc.

MoW was a super solid tactical strategy with some RPG elements, MoW: AS is it's multiplayer extension with significantly, if not severely altered stats and balance, as far as I'm concerned, MoW: AS 2 is yet to show itself, but for now - it is, as announced, a multicore-adequate engine update, a steam multiplayer, an easy mod/custom mappack play (via steam workshop), some graphics and minor gameplay enhancements, and all of the above is, indeed, for quite a reasonable price, at least compared to other games of the kind when they hit the shelves.

All this above is only my perception, of course, but that is just as much, as a man can have.

Why the hell would something, like yourself, ever play Wolfenstein? - All you do there, is killing nazis! Oh, pardon my wording - I mean poor fascists... or should I just call them axis? - I don't know any more... Well, anyway, you get the point.

P.S.: CoH 2 is most definitely an anti-soviet propaganda, and a heavy one, though a clumsy made one as well, so something like you should probably like it a lot.

It make me sad to see Propaganda or superficial stereotypes in videogames , I'am from west but I understand the russians concerns about this game .

but well , like I said , COH 2 is a totally incoherent game , they should just switch on wharammer or a brand new fantasy world because even wharammer require you to follow some rules to stay in the chosen theme .

Warhammer Fantasy Lore is so complicated that even Games Workshop lost the overview, even licensed authors mess it up, Warhammer and Warhammer 40k are more in eternal evolution than a fixed static lore.

Relic should keep their hands from warhammer, their blood raven story books were blasphemy for a warhammer40k fan. Want an excample? The Spacemarine Captain of the Blood Raven Chapter romancing an eldar runeseer? Spacemarine having sex with xenos or feeling sexual attracted to them? The only thing they want to do with xenos is to behead them and stick chainsawswords into them. That is an absolute no go.

Edit: Dawn of War 1 was superp unfortunately the 'addons' were mere datadiscs with new skins, the playstyle of the factions was not all too different, Dawn of War 2 was an atrocity. The series will not survive another round of streamlining and catering to the mass market. Warhammer 40k is about big battles between armies not tactical skirmishes between a handful of hero units. Dawn of War 3 would be better EPIC, but i do not think that Relic will get it. They are trying to hard to milk their fanbase for the last nickle and dime, aka have a look at the dlcs available for Coh2.

Have a nice day
