How do you pick up weapons ?
Well this was my favourite thing to do in older titles. Re-arming your soldiers with wapons that were left from the fallen enemis.
But it seems to be impossible in this new version. Or am I missing something there?

There is a button on the bottom left that you can click to highlight all weapons.

You can also hold C and pick up weapons by right clicking them.

Why did you all decide to change the old system where if you just hovered your mouse over a body or item, you could examine/pick it up. For all the things that were smoothed out in this game, doing that just adds another uneccesary step/button press to what used to be an immediate action. And as you know in this game, every second always counts.

Because sometimes you tell your men to go to cover, and instead they just start examining a dead corpse or pick up a gun and get shot.

That's what the eye was for. Yes this did happen as I've experienced it before, but it was a minor issue, and if you ask me it does more harm than good.
