MOW Assalt squad 2 and Windows 10 {Fixed}

I had men of war assualt squad 2 before I got windows 10 and the game ran beutifuly but I just upgraded to windows 10 and now the game will not launch. Steam thinks that I am playing the game but the game will not show up in the task maniger or on screen. If anyone know why or what will help please tell me.

Can you go to the install location and launch the exe itself rather than through steam?

You may also need to run steam / the game as admin.

I played the game before i had windows 10 and i have the same story

Just upgraded and the game wont run more than 5-10 fps even in menu's

Have not been able to get this game working since I upgraded to Windows 10, I followed the suggestions in this thread to no avail - please any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Never had an issue when I was using Win 7, now the game will not launch at all, I get nothing when I select the executable, I reinstalled, still nothing.

You are most likely missing VS redistributables. You will find the redistributables in the main folder.

The game is being developed on Windows 10, so this isn't the issue.

You also need to update directx, drivers and so on.

All of my stuff is up to date, DX12, latest Nvidia drivers, etc., game worked flawessly on Win 7, after upgrade to Win 10, hasn't worked since.

Well clearly something is not... Only way it happens because of Windows 10 is you not being able properly update/install Windows 10 it self.

I've tried everything from listed above.

Tried VS from redist folder.
Steam runs as admin same as the game.
Can't update DX since it's 11.2.

Call to Arms also won't launch.

Playing on minimum settings and only getting a measly 10 FPS.
Ran both Steam & MoW:AS2 as admin too.
Windows 10.

The above didn't solve it for me either. But what it was is the "Safe Files" protection in Bitdefender... I assume blocking the creation/writing to the protected directories.
