Flame Thrower Bug.
Ah on some occasions the Sherman Crocidile's flame thrower and the Japanese Flame tank flame thrower (just the front fcing one) will stop working and only fire about 2 meters in front of them after intially firing the full range of the flamer. Just letting you know.

I noticed that too on a British flamethrower soldier in a singleplayer mission in latest update.
It kept looking like raised ground was in the way and the flame was going into it.
So I moved him somwehere else and noticed the flame was very short.

I thought maybe a mod causing it after the latest update.
But I restarted from a save to check and the flame was long as it should be.

MP game -- US Flameflower useless in lastest patch 3.20 - - first use normal, thereafter a candle flame dribble . Major de-grade feature.
Also the Forward-backward action at start of pathing move vechile to other point is a major problem. Any way to avoid it ??
Been raised often and still not addressed.

Must to add: I have japan flamer with that bug, we play later and my enemy use russian flamer and he work.

Clearly a bug as unequiping and then re-equiping the gas tank makes it work again but if you don't do it it remains broken. On a side-note, can you actually refill an empty flamethrower and how ?

Also happens with Japanese SS-D flame minesweeper. Really annoying when it becomes a really slow and expensive Bren carrier.

Click his fuel tank in his inventory then he will carry it in his hands.
Then put your cursor over a vehicle and refuel icon will appear.
Note - he walks slow with the fuel tank in his hands.

This also works the same way with vehicle jerry can.

Hi Devs, can we get an official response on this? The flamer is affected regardless of which unit is utilizing a flame - all flamers are equally affected. It renders the US Croc essentially ineffective but is certainly not limited to it..

The flame works for about 5 seconds and than it stops... 5 bursts or so is about all you get...

soviet - shock infantry
japan - ssd
usa - croc
uk - churchill croc

and all regular flamers.. this is kind of a big deal.

The Flame Thrower bug is extremely easy to re-create: Just direct control any unit, which has flame thrower, shoot few times, and the bug kicks in.
