cant use sniper ability anymore?

So as the thread says I noticed that I can no longer use the sniper ability of my snipers, they fire just like regular rifeman, although I notice that the AI still has the ability it seems my snipers do not. Anyone else noticed this?

Only sniper unit have that ability, so if you give sniper rifle to non sniper unit he won't be able to use aimed shot

Yes, I mean with my snipers. It's not working, I guess it could the mods haven't updated, but I have tried so far with like 5 different mods and it doesn't work in any of them. Although i admit I havne't tried it since the last update in vanilla.

Yeah yeah I know sunbeam, but who still plays vanilla? and I would think with about 5 or 6 different mods that at least one would allow snipers to use the sniper ability.

Quite a few people, actually. ;)

Anyway, as with any issue/bug, you should de-activate ALL mods and try to replicate the issue in the unmodified version of the game. If it works fine, you can be sure it's not a bug with MoW but with a mod.

alright so after testing, I must admit, it seems it's a mod issue with several mods that haven't updated to allow the sniper ability to work correctly

That's one reason why still quite not so few people still play vanilla... SCNR...
