Launch bug or glitch.

So one day I get on steam to play Men of War: Assault Squad 2, right? So, I press play and it brings up the option menu, you know, where it says 'play' and 'editor' and 'safe mode' and whatever, right? Well, I select one and press play. It says 'preparing to launch', right? The box dissapears and at the library menu it says its running, but then it dissapears and NOTHING happens! I've had this problem for 2 weeks and I can NOT find a solution! If anyone out there knows one, please help! And it's not just this game. Rome Total War II has the same problem. Please help somebody, I really like this game and it sucks not being able to play it.

Restart computer.
Go task manager(ctrl +alt+ del).
Go process tab.
Click launch mow. Click safemode.
Go into task manager in process tab. See if mowas2 is in the list of applications. If it is, and is under roughly 170000kb the game won't launch until surpassing that number.
Sometimes if a hhd is old or has a fault it will take a little longer to load onto ram.
This isn't a fix but it could help you see if the game is running.
In most cases it will eventually launch. And sometimes antivirus may be scanning files.
if it is not running then there is an issue. If this is the case, makesure you checkout Deltadudes troubleshooting guide.

No, nothing popped up. I pressed play and no app or file or whatever showed up.

So when you clcik launch, it says preparing to launch? Then it closes?
And says syncing data ?
What are your system specs?
Maybe it is a antivirus issue or even a firewall issue.

It could be incompatible direct x version or even out of date graphics drivers.

Now I was searching throuhg my files to delete the mods I had, and then I tried running the game through clicking the file, but then this popped up. 'The program can't start because MSVCR110.dll is missing from your computor.'

You need to update your c++ redistributable both versions x64 and x86

You need to update your c++ redistributable both versions x64 and x86

Please browse to ...steam/steamapps/common/men of war assault squad 2 / _CommonRedist / vcredist and try to install both versions for 2012 and 2015. Normally it should install it automatically when the game is launched for the first time but your error is definitely caused by an outdated c++ redistributable.

Please browse to ...steam/steamapps/common/men of war assault squad 2 / _CommonRedist / vcredist and try to install both versions for 2012 and 2015. Normally it should install it automatically when the game is launched for the first time but your error is definitely caused by an outdated c++ redistributable.
