Stuck at "Mounting mod resources"

For some odd reason, I haven't been able to play the game unless in the safe mode without mods. I uninstalled all of the mods, yet it still will not load at all. Anyone know what is happening?

what works for me is unsubscripe all mods and delt all mods. (make sure they are not activaded)
then run the game. if it works subscripe to the mods again and try again.

works for me most of the time.

mabye there are some special instructions you can find on the mods page it self

I have had this problem many times, it is caused from having too many out of date mods, or too many mods in general. Let me go down the list of some troubleshooting you can do.

- Launch in safe mode with out mods and delete any out of date mods that have their up to date versions already in your mod selection menu. This sometimes happens for mods like GSM, Valour, RobZ Realism etc... Always perform this step first. If you have mods that are simply out of date and you don't want, or will never be updated, it's best to simply unsubscribe and delete them.

- Simply wait, if you have just installed a new mod it takes time for the game to process it for the first time, so just have some patience. This may take over 10 minutes for mods that are in the multi GB range.

- For your specfic case you have already deleted your mods, they may be deleted from your folder, but you still have them subscribed, so go to the work shop and unsubscribe to all of your mods.

- If they didnt work you're going to have to reinstall the game and download more cautiously, do not resubscribe to out of date mods and follow those steps above before you go out and delete all your mods.

it does this all the time for me with the red rising mod, just go into library right click on properties go to updates and untick steam cloud. P.S i alos untick the steam overlay thing and just wait for 6-7 minutes for it to load up

I reindtalled and unsuscribed all Workshop items and it worked again.

I found if it happens with only 1 or two mods then if I wait a while it does work eventually
