Read my post, I already did that.
I believe that the wave is made by about 20-30 heavy tanks, many king tigers, some Jagtigers, Tigers and Panthers.
There's no room for flanking, the wave covers almost the entirety of the screen and even if you manage to sneak a tank destroyer behind them, it gets ganged as soon as it fires first shot.
You have no choice but to face it frontally.
SuperPershing is the only tank that can achieve some frontal penetration, but it is very difficult even when direct controlled and even then it's a 30% chance at best. Meanwhile the enemy literally makes shells rain. Anything but a hull-down Pershing gets annihilated.
Shermans disappear. Jumbos and Panthers can hold their own but get their gun/turret/tracks wrecked in seconds. Eventually the Pershings get swarmed by infantry or flanked and get destroyed. Assuming that the enemy doesn't get lucky and trashes them even while protected in the tank ditch.
Also, the field is literally littered with wrecks that give the enemy ample cover. Not that it needs it, as I simply do not have enough firepower anyway.
I have one last resort plan:
I will create a small corral made of empty tanks around a single infantryman near the flag and meanwhile will try to evacuate as much troops/tanks as I can...then I will try to pick them off one by one while they stand around the poor trapped infantryman.
Heroïc is here to force the player to use every single possible micro opportunity. I did some missions on Heroic for fun, and yes, they are a pain (especially defences one) but not impossible.
Intense micromanagement with infantry. The mission is extremely easy for a heroic mission.
There are tanks & infantry swarming and combing the entire map, the moment they see them they will disappear!
Anyway, Patton, Monty and Rommel have nothing on me.

Genius, reminds me of Ondkorven's parody stuff on youtube.
Y los DLC ... todos son lo mismo (UNA ESTAFA) ... a excepcion de ... Men of War Origins QUE TRAE UNAS CAMPAÑAS ADICIONALES...!
The only thing I have to say is that the HARD & HEROIC option is the most stupid game choice and that's it... AN INCREASING UNDERSTANDING OF INFANTRY AND ENEMY TANKS, what stupid and i-m-b-e-c-i-l-e programmer would come up with such a pairing. And to top it off, they cut down the amount of infantry... I mean, you fight 1 against 100 every 30 seconds... how stupid...!
And the DLCs... they are all the same (A SCAM)... except for... Men of War Origins WHICH BRINGS SOME ADDITIONAL CAMPAIGNS...!
