GEM Editor Endless Waves Help
Hey, ya'll I am looking for some help making endless waves in the GEM Editor, and by extension, the Star Wars Galaxy at War mod.
So I have watched multiple YT vids explaining how it's done and so far the only one that has worked is 123stealthbomber, and with that one I was only able to recreate the tank version of the trigger successfully and that was only once.

--So I know to add tags and I know how to set up a waypoint path, and a poly spawnpoint.

--I can set up a trigger with the "entities" condition that has the proper tag, zone, state (not dead), count (less than <), count (18 [same number as units with the tag]).

--I set the "actor to waypoint" at waypoint 0 (start of the waypoint path), clone is checked off and I set the approach at teleport and rotate. In the "selector" category I put the proper unit tag and left it at that. Not sure if I was also supposed to add a zone/type/state.

--In "actor state" category I put the same selector thingy as in the "actor to waypoint" category. Then in control I put AI, in fire_mode I got Open, move_mode Free, weapon_prepare On, ai_move On, speed Assault, no_retreat On. (I know you don't need all of that info but I figure, might as well give you everything and then see what sticks.

--delay at 30 seconds

--trigger I put the name of the root trigger (from the start of the trigger thing) then I made sure to keep "on" unchecked ( because stealth said to keep it unchecked)

The units you want to "clone" need to be tagged as hidden. In the image you provided it doesn't look like they are tagged as hidden.

Thank you for the clear explanation of what you were doing,

I had exactly the same issues; and yes, 'Hidden' has worked for me too!

Uh it's been awhile since i've played tbh but if I recall correctly you have to click on a unit, select the ellipses to add a tag and then I think you just type in "hidden". I think, like I said it's been awhile and everything I learned was from YT videos.
