AI Skirmish mode in Valour Mod is brutal

I wish the base game had AI like this. Wow, the valour AI seriously doesn't mess around. Even on easy it's still hard to use tanks because the player seems to be the main target for the AI team. It's hardcore, but I like that. If only there was a first person mode in this game, the valour mod would be perfect!

maybe. I think it's because unlike in the vanilla game, the health systems on soldiers works far more realistically than it does in vanilla. Instead of the classic 100 bullets to kill a guy that most RTS games use, valour (as well as others like Robz Realism) base their health on real life. So in valour it only takes 2 or 3 bullets, depending on where they get shot, to kill them.

If I remember right, I heroic your soldiers also have much less health, as much as the AI, or maybe even less

no. they tried that in call to arms and it didnt go so great. 3rd person direct control is better.

It would only work in SP and on specific maps, but I think that it is a subject to another discussion
