if you have multiple large mods, expect like an hour of mod ressource mounting.
I see a lot of false / semi-correct statements from you around here.
It actually has nothing to do with the engine but with your HDD speed and mods folder size.
Each mod needs to be copied each time you start the game. Fast HDD or SDD = faster mounting, many big mods = slower mounting, but how long it actually takes, always depends on your hardware.
I have Ark, Amra 3 both with over 40 gigs of mods and they load with in a respecable speed. minutes
On the same drive as those two games, I load up MOWAS2 with one mod loaded and it takes over an hour.
So in this respect I have to side with what @101 had to say. It is this game and how it handles mods and has nothing to do with my 512 gig SSD.
Its just the system how mods are mounted. Still has nothing to do with the engine and can only be speeded up by fast HDD / SDD or a new mounting system like Call to Arms has, where the mods no longer need to be copied each time you start the game.
i know nothing about PCs.
just saying its common for mods to take long to load.
sure, not the game engine itself but still, id say that counts.
