By reload, do you mean re-supply?
You can cheat the system a little by resupplying your tanks until ammo is full and then swapping your rounds into the supply vehicles inventory. keep doing this as much as you want, then when you are happy with the amount, swap it all back to the tank. I actually like the micro managing involved as it sort of simulates the effort involved in resupplying ammunition. Works with infantry and pretty much everything else to.
True, supply vehicles have a limited supply. But do you do the swapping trick.
For example, you have a tank with zero rounds left. You park the supply vehicle next to the tank. This auto resupplies about 30 AP and 30 HE (for example) and that's the limit the supply vehicle will give (This is actually so supply vehicles do not waste their entire supply on one unit). But the trick is, that when the tank has reached its supply allowance, press X (with the supply truck selected) which brings up the eye icon and then click the tank, this allows you swap the rounds back to the supply vehicle where they sit in its inventory (not its supply). The supply vehicle will then fill up the tank again, to 30 AP and HE, then do the same swapping over.
You can keep doing this until the supply vehicle is depleted, normally amounting to quite a few tank rounds (near 100 if its a supply truck). Then just simply give them all back to the tank.
Its not infinite, but its better than just 30 rounds.
