Game keeps crashing

My game keeps crashing, It crashes when I use the GEM editor and when I'm playing missions. I have no mods active. When it crashes it says: Program will be terminated. APP ERROR: Unable to create the swap chain.

How do you do that?

i fixed this earlier go in to steam library and right click men of war as2 go down to properties then go into Set launch options and type in as follows -reset_steam_profiles then next you should go into your documents folder/my games and find mowas2 (men of war) then rename your profiles folder to whaterver want you can even name it jebus But mine is profile2 hope this works for you as this can be very frustrating if you need further help let me know

my game keeps crashing . my son was playing editor and he done something. it nsays something about usa song and keeps crashing.. I NEED HELP

Go to your steam library, right click men of war as 2, left click properties, select the local files tab, and the look for verify integrity of game files. Click that and let it run. start the game. that usualy fixes any problem for me.

It keeps crashing when I try to start it up... Or it just goes black screen for me.

I did this and it fixed my problem for a while but then it started crashing again. Then I verified the integrity and it said "3 files failed to validate and will be reaquired" What do I do?

Same here i just get it fixed then it does the swape chain shuffell.

the first time i had this problem was yesterday: now the game crashes every time i load a game. The game runs only on start up if i load a game saved before my first crash.
I wish to fix it as VikingDeco (and other players said in the discussions), but i don't know how to recognize my "profile folder".

Yes I have been having the same problems as the rest of the people in the thread, but neither solutions have done anything

For me, my Men of War Crashed today sadly. I'm new to steam and just plain out noobish to PC Gaming in a sense. When I combine/activated two mods by accident. The game won't load up.

Keeps on saying

I've tried verifying the files from steam. Uninstalling the game and workshop stuff(didn't redownload them) and the DLC's. None of them have worked and just sad and confuse.

I'll try to contact/do a thread here if I can get it to work.

UPDATE: I've taken out of the misc files in mods. Just only take out the stuff inside it not the whole of it. You can still install mods but to not make the same mistake as before. Don't mix and match the ww3 mod and maps. I hope this may help :)
