How can i change game version ?

How can i change game version to 3.040 ?

Have you tried right clicking the game in steam, going to properties, betas, previous patch?

yes i tried the previous patch it downgrade to other version not 3.040.

Don't mean to get you to suck eggs here or anything but when you downgraded to the previous patch and it wasn't what you were looking for, was there still an option in betas -> previous patch, to downgrade again, until you get the version your after?

The only other way I know of changing game version is to do with mods; are you trying to use a mod and a mission that needs that mod?

Actually i was trying to install dark rising mod, so the game version need is 3.040 that's what i all wanted. sorry for my english.

Hi, i know how to fix this, go to your mod folder and click on the mod, click on mod.info and open it up with notepad
There you will find {MinGameVersion "3.260"}
{MaxGameVersion "3.260"}
You can change the number to your most recent version, so the mod will work on the latest version of MOW

Uuhm, it makes the mod activateable, it doesn't guarantee it will work. Max's GSM defense missions for example have bugged out characters now.
