Questions about cold war DLC

hi, im a noob. i play this game sometimes, and i like trying a lot of mods.
i saw devs are making a cold war DLC, and i have questions about it before considering a buy

mainly:
-mowas2 DLCs pretty much always get negative feedback (way more negative than base game at least). what makes this DLC different, and worth buying?

-devs said that it will have engine upgrades from CTA, but be vastly different. how? what should make me want to buy this DLC instead of playing CTA for free?

-what will be its price? how long will the campaigns last (if there is campaigns)?

-will it have only america and russia, or other factions too? (for example other countries part of NATO)

It's not DLC, it's a standalone game. It will have engine upgrades from CtA, kind of a hybrid, I guess.

Similar to the Men of War AS2 Origins, it is a stand alone expansion

well AS2 origins got pretty negative feedback too. so my question still holds, has the flaws of the last standalone been acknoledged and corrected?
best thing is to wait for player reviews i guess

Will AS2 mods be playable off the bat?

Neither. As2 mods should still function on vanilla as2. However this is far different than cta and as2.

No, this was looked at and just not feasible. It would require its own overhaul.

Instinct and DeltaDude you guys are the same devs of call to arms?...what you going to add 5 tiers of troops and like 10 vehicles for US and Russia and just make the graphics Ultra HD 4k....then later make a ultimate versions that adds 3 more factions for like 60 dollars?

idk I think ima pass on this and wait for soldiers arena (actual new engine and animations) you guys became cash grabbers; taking advantage the gamers who enjoy rts.
