OK op have you ever installed mods? if so, make sure you deleted the mod files from the mod folder

takes mine not even that long to load in :)

Load in safe mod with out mods and it iwll be way faster.
My Guess is it mounts all mods you have downloaded (STUPID)
I have a I7 4ghz, 12 Gig of Ram with an 512 SSD and it takes 25 minutes to load if I let it load with mods.
So I would not say crappy PC but Crappy way to mount mods you are not even using or have loaded into your game.

I've been having the same damn problem for the last two days. No mods, fresh install. Seems like this is somewhat common of an issue. Just curious OP, you manage to at least get the game to start?

once again, did you go to your mod folder and delete the mod files?
Just unsubscribing or even uninstalling the gmae does not actually delete the mod files. you have to manually do that. Even if I am wrong, it is worth looking into.

Yeah I did that last night. Cleaned the workshop for the game right out after unsubscribing while the game was uninstalled

IT'S WORKING!! What worked for me was exit steam, run steam as admin, and then run the game as admin from its local folder. Loaded in about a minute. Hope this helps someone else out there having the same issue.

Before you try that, make sure you deleted all your mods.
