Plus i'm new to MOW scripting, so learning curve.

In the video i show 3 types of gates:
Gate 1 (the large one)
Gate 2 (the tall one)
Gate 3 (it's the same as gate 1)
Gate 1 uses a more complex script and two waypoints to add a nice animation when opening the door. This is just a fancy way to do the script and it's not going to work if you use player units.
It has a rectangular area for each waypoint (gate1out & gate1in) and it closes when all units are outside of both areas.
I think Gate 2 is the most functional (no animation tho). It's pretty, it only uses two scripts + one area and it closes when all units are outside, just like Gate 1.
Gate 3 is the script made by BestWay. As you can tell from the video it has a big downside:
The door will constantly open/close when the units are inside its area. That can be a little annoying :/
If you have any futher question feel free to ask!
I'll upload a couple of missions on the workshop tomorrow; you can tear them apart if you want and see how they work :)
Thank you for the vid. I agree option 2 wil work best for a flag-fort entryway (see images). I eventually want to tie their use to flag ownership. I'm struggling to make it work. When you do your next vid, could you do a walk-through of how to set it up? In your last vid, I couldn't see what the entity properties were.

Also, I had a CDL when attempting to load your desert canyon map. I can send you the error code if you'd like.
