Centurion - Good or bad?
What do you think guys? I go back and forth on this and cannot decide. What are its strengths and weaknesses?

depends what it goes against and how you play it.

The tank is a sniper, it is very accurate. that is about it though, don't rely on its armor althought it can be pretty derpy

Yeah I'd agree with that. It has very high turret armor all round according to the (possibly outdated) stats page, so It should be good hull down, but in my experience this does work out very well.

Has bad side armour. 40mm?
Pretty much impossible to kill from front though.

If you are able to cover the flat part of the hull, it has excellent armor.

The Centurions armor has non angled flat area which is its greatest weakspot. Hulldowned Centurion is able to hide that weakspot.

Ahhh, I see. Speaking of hull-down: any tips on how to go hull-down in MOWAS2? Other than just trying to hide behind a hill?

There is a trick to make "sandbag for tanks", which will be able to hide the largest weakspot of some tanks, Centurion included.

You can buy some AT combat engineers and make them build a thick row of hedgehogs so, that there is no gap between them. The hedgehogs will be able to block AP shells but if they take too many hits they will eventually break.

Otherwise you just need to take advantage of the maps battlefield and hide the weakspot behind a rock, small elevation difference or other onject that will be able to cover the weakspot. Using destroyed tank wreckages can also be useful before they disappear.
