This is woefully unpopular and we are seeing the pushback very clearly. People live in Reddit echo-chambers but the numbers don't lie.
That being said, a good game (take Elden Ring for example) can get away with some concessions such as 'body type A' nonsense but as the eastern devs swoop in and eat their lunch with outright blatantly non-woke sexualised content appealing to the predominantly male customer base, western devs will drop the woke or they will all find themselves in the unemployment line.
Believe me, the push back has started and (thank God) the woke lunacy is on borrowed time
We should remember they are NOT charity.
Once they realize this narrative hurts their bottom lines, there's no way they're going to stick with it 'just to be kind'.
How many more 200m can they afford to lose?
It amazes me people actually believe they do this because they care about anything other than money. But the average person in the west is worryingly stupid these days, so it is not that surprising, sadly.
You are sort of right about sexualised content, "the oldest profession" is not called oldest for no reason. But there is a push for women to start selling their bodies and for men to spend time with virtual women. It is part of the plan. Or rather, multiple plans at once. Depopulation, worsening education levels worldwide, shortening attention spans and more.
I think Concord has broken Guinness World Record? Has there ever been a project with 200m investment crumbled within 14 days? People were speculating that it might last (at least) no longer than a year, considering the scale of investment poured into this thing.
THIS will be a business case study for future generations to come.
Like I said before, nature is healing :)
