Gee, I don't know. Not make games less fun in the name of those "progressive elements"? Not gaslight players (or viewers in the case of the movie or TV) that they are just racist or whatever when they criticize your work for the actual bad stuff?

If Concord creators wanted to make something based on Guardians of the Galaxy style, why didn't they make characters to be cool and exotic-looking aliens and make them some boring fat humans instead?

Progressive elements is not an issue.
We had games in the past with women, colored people, etc.

The problem is this game seems to only exist through this progressive ideology, and doesn't bring anything else on the table. It's a turd game.

There is no problems with the sane gamers. The problems lie within the dev that like to call potential customers talentless freaks and all the -ists and -phobes it can make up, along with the "modern" audiences that these dev is kowtowing towards.

First off to aknowledge games are just fiction. They don't need to represent you or anyone. If you need to be represented i suggest you to seek again your priorities in life and accept you have a problem. They don't need to adapt at your sensibility. They must be about entertainment and not lunatic politic takes. Must be done by people with actual talent and not just people that got hired for a diversity quota.

Keep games, games and people won't get upset about stuff. And maybe games would be actually fun and don't become laughting stock and flop.

When so-called "free thinkers" stop reacting negatively to ideas and representation outside of their norm... Toxicity overall, though, clearly stems from a mix of lacking: parenting,
maturity, and IQ.

Progressiveness isn't why this game is getting put down, but I'm not sure arguing or discussing in this community is worth the time.
