There may be some racists, but the majority who were not happy with the game are not. It's supposed to be inclusive, so why I am not represented as a an attractive, busty, slim white woman.

I honestly don't care about race and would be happy to play as a black girl if she was hot. I'm also fine with playing as male character if their hot as despite what some think women like eye candy as well.

I just don't like the forced view that being fat and ugly is supposed to be the norm. In recent years I've even experienced this weird form of prejudice in real life. That because I have an hourglass figure and big boobs that I am some sort of freak of nature or lying about not being surgically enhanced. Funny thing is that if they actually saw me without a bra they would realise I am human as well. Things only go down with age. While its not that bad yet, in ten years I probably would need a boob lift.

There are some unsavoury types who are bringing trump into discussions like he is leading a charge against DEI in online gaming or something, when probably the only game he has played is Leisure Suit Larry.

Although I never played the game. I remember when Tera was released. Back then no one really mentioned it much. If it was released now it would be seen as being in the forefront of a crusade.

I think increasingly everything is becoming really partisan. To the point where Black Myth Wukong is seen as being an anti woke champion and many are quick to forget that they were calling China their enemy during covid. There is nothing really anti-woke in the game and in the book there is some man who was meant to get pregnant from a magic lake or something.

Then there are games on the extreme of woke like concord that basically are destined to ruin, because they manage to annoy even left wingers like myself with the forced inclusion, that even reminds me of real life where I get dirty looks from some young girls in their baggy jumpers, just for wearing a short dress.

The way the media goes on about it, everyone thinks that its south asian men who are meant to harass women in sexy clothing. Instead it's young women and girls who probably think I'm either being forced to dress like that by some patriarch or devaluing myself. Their generation is doomed because they really associate looking desirable with being oppressed. Also I'm not even that old. Im in my early 40's but look better than most women in their 20's these days.

Dev's failed to convince us to open our wallets and spend our money. They're not entitled to our money just because they created a product, they have to earn it, which they failed to do, and why this game died instantly.

Also, you need to purchase the game if you want people to believe this bait BTW. No Mouse icon by game is an obvious sign your a liar.

Yes, the developers and executives at Sony really are truly disgusting bigots with how much they hate gamers, or as that one developer called constructive criticism "talentless freaks".

I don't play hero shooters, and i don't want to sign up to the play station network if i buy the game from steam. SONY needs to understand this. VALVE won the console wars. utter total victory with the steam deck, no survivors.

I bought days gone, i may by that new god of war. I don't really play online games and i am not interested in live service games. This isn't racism, this is sony corporate not wanting to listen to the market, for mocking us every step of the way with their potato boxes, for putting denuvo in the console games, for just being terrible on every level.

So they had a quirky lineup of characters? Take a number. There are thousands of games on steam, and hundreds in my library, with diverse characters and made by devs from most walks of life. Concord just did not interest me.

I mean it's terrible that they have to raise playstation 5 prices to make up for that loss, but maybe people should play on the PC and not disgusting overpriced hardware that you can't upgrade.

I had no interest in anthem either. now MAYBE if it was a single player game where i had to upgrade and maintain an environment suit to survive a high G toxic world? i would have bought that, but the publisher wanted a LIVE SERVICE! and made trash.

The economy is bad right now, and the hipster kids grew up. This game is priced the same as a tank of gas, and most people can't afford to sacrifice a tank of gas for a mediocre video game. Maybe if it was released 4 years ago it would have been a hit? but not now.

If sony puts denuvo in the FF7 remake for PC? They won't get my money either.

There are tons of indie games, that are cheaper, and far more fun. We harvest shadows is big on my radar right now, because it's a silent hill farming sim. It's fresh, it's cool, it's DIFFERENT.

This was overwatch with scifi skins, if i wanted overwatch, i would play overwatch.
