Devs panders to the modern audiences
And it turns out that the modern audiences are such small speck in the gaming community
that it didn't sell enough copies to keep the 200m$ live service alive
Finally, someone with some actual sense.
Oh well, I don't have too many tears to shed for Sony.
I do think the one developer, Gunnar or whatever, got done slightly dirty. Yeah, the talantless freaks line is not a good look. But he said that as a passing comment in a reply to a supporter. He didn't say that directly to a detractor. And it's worth noting that by that point, the game had been under fire for around a whole month because it started before it was released. I feel most bad for him to be honest. I'd feel differently if he said that in an interview or responded to a critic that way.
What are you talking about? People have every right to criticize your work. And you should never attack critics personally.
When you make a really bad game, no criticism is too far.
If you think this game isn't actually that bad, I respect your subjective opinion.
But the results of people voting with their wallets are already in, right?
In this age of youtube and twitch, it has never been easier to get actual footage of gameplay and make your own decision based on it. We are no longer in the pre-internet days of relying on physical game magazines to inform us.
If the so called "bandwagon" were that powerful and influential, then most games would have failed because even the most popular games have their own set of "haters". Call of duty being a case in point. Practically all of its modern releases have a very high number of negative steam reviews yet it still has such a large playerbase and is still making activision so much money. That's because the game is fundamentally able to attract players and most of its target audience likes it despite the amount of negativity.
The cold hard truth is that concord is simply too mediocre to even pique people's interest to try it out.
its a comedy
