Concord is a genuinely fun game that deserves a shot

If you want a genuinely fun, oldschool-esque hero shooter that has more balance in terms of characters than Overwatch ever did, give Concord a go. I now have 40 hours into it and I can honestly say that the more I learn the more fun the game gets. This pre-teen agenda against the game is rooted in racism. There is no agenda being pushed. When you're in game there isn't a single mention of LGBTQ anything. It's a sci-fi game with an interesting storyline. One that I hope is explored in a lot more depth. I've been playing Hero-Shooters since Shadowrun on the Xbox 360 (phenomenal game) and I can say that Concord deserves a spot in this genre just as much as Overwatch/Paladins does.

All this trolling nonsense aside, for those of you not still going through growth spurts, if you're on the fence I genuinely suggest you give it a go. Try it out, see for yourself that all the hate is unjustified. It's a fun game. One that has had me put 40 hours into it already. Finding a match takes 20-30 seconds at times and 1minute-1:30 at other times. It's not anywhere as bad as what is being pushed in terms of player count. I rarely, if ever run into the same people. The trophy theory for counting PS5 players is flawed to hell as it doesn't account for private profiles, but I digress.

Simply put, the characters, gameplay, environments and abilities all are a lot of fun. If you like hero-shooters, but want one that is more balanced and grounded, Concord is your game. You and I both know reviewers are corrupt to all hell, and that children love to make noise. Leave the judging for yourself, as you always should.

It seems you can't and that may be the answer for the threads about pronouns and skin color - the game itself just isn't worth talking about, we did that during the beta and the list of criticism was long.
The developers still released it in this state and honestly you can't be surprised that only a few people bought it.

Furthermore if you follow the playercounts closely you will see a phenomenon that's basically unheard of:
Concord had only 697 peak CCU, which is bad enough, but they managed declining peak CCU numbers even on their first weekend, with Sunday being the lowest at only 120 remaining players.

So even the majority of the few players that bought the game quickly lost interest, can you explain why?

I didn't play the beta. I don't know what issues you had with it so I can't comment on that. I only know what I've learned from playing a couple of hours since launch.

And I can't explain why people lost interest, a guess would be that they didn't like playing the game.

So I doubt they're even here, even more " having a good laugh with the rest of us". That would be pretty funny though.

When it's free to play like the rest of it's kind, then I'll give it a shot. But you literally have Overwatch, Paladins, Deadlock, TF2 etc etc that are all free 2 play (deadlock needs an invite for the testing though)

This game isn't JUST dying because people are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to woke stuff in games, it's also because of the baffling decision to charge $40 for it too, when my previously mentioned examples are all free to play. This game is doing the same dumb things that Battleborn did.

BUT even then, I don't think I'll enjoy it at all from what I've watched gameplay wise. The time to kill is WAY too long. Seriously why have a sniper character when a headshot doesn't kill or at least takes like 80% off of a tank's hp? What's the point then?

Also I feel when it DOES go free to play, it will be too late then.
