Yep, I just have to ask this. Little question about argubly the Main mascot of this game. The Big Blueberry himself, DAW.

Why did you decided to use babble babble to name him? Like lets ignore the fact that as a fat character. He is a very very bad design as he doesn't actual look fat. He looks more like he is wearing an inflated suit. As hell no one hear is going to argue road hog from over watch looks ugly. So really that isn't the issue hear.

The issue is you let your baby Name your characters. Like just saying the name to myself makes me sound Dumber every single time. Like it is killing my brain cells one by one.

So why in gods name did you decided to name him **DAW**

IS he a comedic character? Dose all he do is make jokes? Dose he reference his own name in game? like i will never play this as i don't like hero shooters. So its really not my thing regardless of everything else. But ya, i just can't grasp why they chose it.

I have no idea. I just saw a video of this guy making fun of Daw and I didn't think that was his real name. Surly that was a joke nick name or something someone gave him. But no that really is his name.

Look, this game has a lot of issues. From both a mechanical, artistic, and even ethical standpoint. And while that goes beyond the scope of this thread.

It is just like, wow how do you let this go threw your design team? Like if you look at the rest of the characters. They Just have either Generic titles, Such as Duchess, or generic sounding space names like Lennox. Which in honest is fine. Not everyone needs to reinvent the wheel hear.

Just come on, its as bad as naming your character Star child. And yes the big burly guy is called star child. Why, i have no idea and i don't care. As it feels like that kind of Edgy name. But in the end those names least attempt to sound cool.

This is just like, Daw......DDDAAAWWW .... just why?

What, i am being honest as i don't like hero shooters. Thou i do like watching ♥♥♥♥ storms. and boy this game is one big ♥♥♥♥ storm. as even for a hero shooter it is very Generic. It dose not really even have a universe behind it.

Think about it, what can you tell me about this universe in concord? What are the major political fractions? What are the races of the main characters? What is their ideals, Nationality, Religion or culture. hell what is the planets their fighting on? Why are they even fighting? if their mercenaries who is paying them?

Answer is Nothing, This is a freaking hero shooter. Even in over watch Nothing you do actual matters. As the game is not actual canonical with the actual story. Team fortress two has a better story then this. And it is about two old mean Fighting an endless war with each other. Which leads them to decided to hook up and Make a baby.

Regardless thou, in all honesty i still want this answered. As what was going threw the dev mind when they looked at the Blueberry man. And decided his name should be Daw. And no not Dog.. Daw.. d a w no g,

Also one last thing, Find it kinda funny that you have your own universe you can play with. You can have all the races you can think of. And out of your entire roster.. only what 3 characters are alien races. The rest are humans.

You know, thinking on it, Team fortress 2 really did create the hero Shooter Genera. You have the 9 classes, each one with their own unique character tied to it. And even thou it is nothing more then a bunch of game modes where nothing actual seems to progress. If you look into the supplemented media of team fortress as a franchise. You would see they actual Kinda plays into this.

As the comics, show that not only the original game is still part of the cannon. Making TF2 to be a sequel and not a remake. That everything that has happened in game actual has a meaning. As the story being about two brothers cursed to fight for eternity over a bunch of run down shacks and mines. Not only make sense within the context of the overall story, but the game itself. As the brothers are Both moronic dimwits who refuse to hire any more mercenaries and fail to accomplish anything.

Meanwhile the main characters. The mercs, all of which have their own story. They are more then just the memes that people make them out to be. Great example of this is the Heavy. Heavy, the big Russian guy who loves eating sandwiches and has a love affair with his minny gun. His story is actual very depressing.

As all the money he is earning fighting. Is sent to his homeland to help his wife and child. Both of which who are actual dead. So he is fighting to send money to no one. As he has no other reason to live.

And this is coming from the game where every character is a gigantic joke. Hell even the Main antagonist Greytarch, aka the third child. Was raised by birds and was so successful that he made an army of robots that Used money as fuel.

Side note, reason why i say this is. I don't think concord really has an actual story. Like i seen some of the animations. And they really don't explore anything. its just generic action sequences that show how Cool they are. But i really don't learn anything about the world or characters.

And yes, TF2 did the same thing, But each video focused on a single character. What they can do. And showed their personalities. and was overall goofy. As TF2, is trying to be a joke.
