Bungie chief got ousted for sexist emails flirting with young hotties with bodies in the office and now he go bye bye and big tall tomboy taking over and going to make super drip fed DLC.
The FPS genre died years ago with this battlepass crap imo. The days of Battlefield 4 and Black Ops 2 are long gone....
Now they just need to start making good games, cause there hasn't been many.
Well, they did:
https://nypost.com/2024/07/17/business/microsoft-fires-dei-team-becoming-latest-company-to-ditch-woke-policy-report/
But they also said:
“Our focus on diversity and inclusion is unwavering and we are holding firm on our expectations, prioritizing accountability, and continuing to focus on this work.”
So it may take a few more costly lessons.
Greetings,

according to the professionally hired activists of the DEI-kind, they can rename the departments and throw a couple of people out. the mission of these departments stays the same. also they´re now called "Bridge". not sure how public they want this rebranding of the same mindvirus slop to be... probably not a lot tho.
also microsoft definitely has dozends upon dozends of DEI departments and the first thing they do is to infiltrate the HR department, to get more activists in, thus the HR departments are infected too and will spread the infection further.
removing the source of the mindvirus doesnt help much in this case.
concord started development 8 years ago.
just imagine how many projects are in the pipeline (even tho sony & other cancelled quite a few of them; post-rona slowdown) that will come out in the next few years. i image several dozends across several companies, thus we still have A LONG time to point fingers & laugh.
also some non-gamer execs thinking that finishing those projects may recuperate some of the spent money, rather than cancelling it & taking the loss.
the only question is how much money will the worst of the worst burn.

mindvirus brain: this person is not real
*insert woman on airplane complaining that this mf-er is not real*
tbf, i´d take this random woman more seriously on anything than anyone who worked on this game or signed off to it.
also she managed to entertain millions within seconds, while this game didnt even entertain a thousand people with 8 years of making.
Some companies got rid of DEI departments, who try to think economical again, which basically all companies should do, which are not non-profit.
