Superman 64 was also the better game. You played as Clark Kent, not some band of DEI outcasts.
apples are much healthier for you so you should play Cocnord™ today
This game was also made by Sony Computer Entertainment. That's also a huge brand. I think that it flopped since
1. People are just done with hero shooters
2. Critics panned it
3. With the sheer amount of both new releases and remasters, consumers have other options and don't need to play a game they won't enjoy as much.
4. Characters looked weird in the trailer instead of cool. It looked more like a goofy cartoon and after the 8th gen was filled with nothing but that, people now want more detailed graphical styles again. See for instance, the backlash to Halo Infinite's trailer which caused a 12 month delay. It was a game which didn't really appeal to its target audience.
...And I think that we can all agree that it never will be lul!
There are other N64 games that failed much harder, such as Daikatana.
All of this to say, OP is actually right for once, Concord is much worse than Superman 64, as it actually made a profit and sold well, and wasn't regarded as "worst game ever" until recently. Concord has been branded of having the "worst character design ever" immediately after release. And being a multiplayer game, with no players you can't even play it, Superman 64 will be playable forever, assuming you have a tolerance for horrendous gameplay and a working N64 (or emulator).
