Question about Sony and obviousness of all this situation

This is a genuine question, please explain it to me.
The failure of the game was such an obvious thing. Literally any sane human would understand that people won't play this.
Sony is a multibillion dollar company. Why couldn't they hire ONE SINGLE GOOD BUSINESS ANALYST? Or even not a good one, any third grader could tell that this crap won't pay off. It is not that hard.
Or was it all intentional? Then why, why Sony would throw away money, aren't they are capitalists focused on getting money?
This whole situation drives me crazy.

I tapped out of new releases in ~2016. I still got BG3 - but to my defense, I got it in EA, where it was a completely different product, when there were "males" and "females" and there was no 100% "B" party or forced gay scenes. And it made me learn hard to never trust EA ever again (not that EA, I mean "Early Access"; that EA was on the blacklist forever)

I will not settle on the flavor of woke. I will not financially support those who feel entitled to feed me with their agendas, to preach to me and to dare tell me what I should think. And since every release has some woke in it, I just avoid them all.

Like many other companies, they have plenty of smart folks working for them but just like many other corporations, hubris ends up clouding their decisions.

When Sony decided to make 12 live-service games by 2026, it was obviously a huge gamble. In other words, they were prepared for many of them to fail, including helldivers 2. No sane analyst would have been able to guarantee the success of such a huge bet within such a short time. This is essentially flinging ♥♥♥♥ in random directions and hoping that something eventually sticks. As far as the suits are concerned, they only need one or a couple of successful ones to justify the gamble. Whether their shareholders will be happy about it is another thing....it's probably why the person (CEO) who made that decision had been let go.

The suits who took notice of Concord probably didn't look deeper beyond the fanciful graphics and cgi cut scenes. They probably assumed throwing money at a trending genre would be practically automatic and instant success. The very simplistic "if apex/valorant/overwatch/etc can do it, there's no reason we can't either" type of thinking.

You see there's something wrong, your mind is asking questions, yet you wont accept the obvious answers. It's like there is a roadblock in your mind preventing you from going past your programming, congratulations. Now you know what social engineering looks like. You are a walking example of the result.

Now imagine a whole generation or two growing up like this. All they see are woke movies, all they play are woke games, all they hear is woke media. Is it starting to make sense? You still think all these billion dollar companies are "wasting money"?

I'll give you the answer. They aren't wasting money, they are breeding sheep and telling you that being a real man is "toxic". At the same time they are pushing gun control. At the same time they are importing millions of foreign cultures into your countries and telling you it's your strength. At the same time they are letting criminals out of prison and trying to defund the police.

As a native Russian speaker, I can tell you that here all this "socialist propaganda" is well described and known. There is indeed a huge impact done, starting with Willi Münzenberg (who basically created the whole narrative) and Communist International.
But they are all people of past. Western universities where all this crap today is rooted is not the whole world, and in the end the ideology will eat itself, simply because it is devoid of creative power. Maybe it will collapse US at some point, but to hell with it.
