I think the blow to Sony from concord is overblown. Keep in mind that Concord was part of the 12 live-service games that they had intended to release by 2026. When you make that big of a gamble, there are bound to be some huge stinkers. In other words, Sony was already prepared for Concord to fail, just like they were for helldivers 2 before its release.
Of course, explaining that to their shareholders is another thing and that's going to be an uphill battle for them. No doubt that they will be using Helldivers 2 to justify the failure of their bet on concord as well other future ones for a long time to come.
They will not leave, at the very worst, they will be forced to make good games in the future, oh the horror!
No, they did not. They also had low player count. PC gamers aren't sustainable
Hint: 1.5 vs 1 in revenue yearly, I bet you can guess which is which... (but first: check your sources)
Edit: Don't bother, your "PC gamers aren't sustainable" automatically put the dunce cap on you...
I don't think it has anything to do with Son leaving the goldmine which is Steam.
They had a blast selling bunch of other titles, like Helldivers 2.
This particular trash isn't selling on their own platform either. So I wouldn't be worried about Sony abandoning Steam, because they know this game is trash by now, and nobody wants it anywhere.
Let it go, let it go
