It flopped because it was one of many hero shooters that doesnt have enough interesting gameplay.

By blaming "dEi" or "wOkEness" you have given up your sense of genuine criticism and chose hatred instead.

Are the character designs great? A good chunk of them, yeah. Not all, but on average its fine. Very Guardians-of-the-Galaxy-coded, which to me wasnt bad, but i just found it a bit derivative.

I only played the beta, but what i played was pretty fun. Sadly, it wasn't interesting enough to draw a bigger crowd or to keep people playing, and to a lot of us it just looked like a Guardians ripoff. Hero shooters without a big brand/developer to latch onto can easily fall. Deadlock will be successful because it's Valve. Marvel Rivals, well that goes without saying. Concord probably wont.

And anyone who says "go wOkE go broke" would rather look for an excuse to hate than think of an actual reason why it failed.

Look at God of War Ragnarok, Spider-Man 2, Baldur’s Gate 3, The Last of Us Part 2. All of these have sold north of 10 million copies. no those games are by and large panned as being unbearable and are the butt of jokes. Also as for the last of us one of the devs (Niel Druckmann) went out of his way to model one of the characters after a coworker, and the character that has, shal;l we say, bedroom relations with that character is modeled face wise to look like him. Millions of people know this. Also the games you mentioned sold on NAME ALONE. As for goober of war ragnorok it also is the butt of many MANY jokes, with one of the devs actually coming out and bringing up he wrote kratos to be his particular fetish to "get back at the gamers" or sumsuch.

People have been complaining about "woke" games for years now, It's not like you all were uninterested and quiet before SBI detected happened, it was called 'Gamergate 2" because this underbelly of the gaming community has been here since OG Gamergate and before-.
