The Toxicity in here is staggering

Like seriously, I think alot of you people get a huge raging hard on from posting negativity and hate in here.

Concord has become this sort of symbol for a lot of people's aggression against industry stagnation and shallow pandering I suppose. While this isn't especially new, (There's always someone giddy to watch something fail) there is a huge market for hate watching/promoting something that we didn't have 20 years ago.

Having put around 16-18 hours in the beta (I left it idle for a few hours so my listed time was a little over 22 hours), there is a solid game beneath all of the questionable design and marketing decisions here. And the hate it is receiving is wild to me. There isn't anything fundamentally broken here, I don't love the character design, but them, the weapons, and the environments are all extremely detailed, and the dodge on just about everyone but the tanks really alleviates a lot of the problems I have with the somewhat slow base movement speed (How much you wanna bet most of the people calling this slow also like OG Halo? A game where you were locked to "brisk jog" and was masterfully done in spite of that).

But in general, this is a f*ckton of vitriol for a 6/10 at worst. There is valid criticism to be made with the $40 price point considering what you get. No PVE, entirely multiplayer, no community servers so when Sony shuts this down, it'll be unplayable, etc. But yeah, its weird that more people can't talk about its faults without resorting to political rhetoric.

Why would I be positive over a bunch of anti woke bigoted chuds taking pleasure in anyone who even remotely would enjoy this game. It's one thing to have an opinion about the game. It's another to be vile and malicious.

I'm aware that I'm not going around scoffing at people for playing a game they don't like and taking joy in a beta not having that many numbers of players. Nor am I whining about characters being "ugly" and non white. You can dislike a product without being a troll or hateful bigot.

You notice no one here is actually talking about the gameplay, 90% of the posts here are about political drama and pronouns.

So, anti-woke people do not agree with the racism and sexism which this games represents as DEI. Therefore they are not bigots since that would mean they hate on this product unreasonably, but they have their reasons pretty much.

I know bigot is a buzzword for the hivemind, but please learn its meaning and when to use it correctly.
