Can discussions surrounding the game be more about actual gameplay please?

Yes sure pronouns in the character screen is silly and criticisms for the character designs are fair but none of those things affect gameplay. Pronouns will not affect your gameplay experience. As long as the character models don't cause visibility issues it won't affect gameplay. The game looks like Destiny + Overwatch which is perhaps not the most inspired concept ever but as long as gameplay is solid what does it matter? Why are people crying so much about the game being woke as opposed to what it's like actually playing the game? From the outside looking in it looks extremely pathetic. I don't really care whether this game fails or succeeds, I just hope it'll be a fun game. Such an outrage over absolutely nothing.

I don't think this game should be $40 to be completely honest. Even terrible games like Overwatch seem more appealing simply because it's free to play. This game will not be able to compete at its current price point. The game could be very solid but it just will not be able to compete. Hope they turn it around somehow, but I fear it's already too late.

yeeah some of yall acting crazy. i personally am not a fan of the pronouns and some of the char designs but im not here for all that. im here for the mufukin gameplay. dont like nothin they did wit the OW 1/2 char background stuff but the gameplay was fun till they ruined it.

what i think will stop the game from being even close to successful is the 40$ entry fee. they should make it F2P or have a trail version where u can only play like 3 or 4 chars so ppl can try it first.

To a degree, yes. I don't care if the characters are ugly. Silhouettes do matter for quick decision making.

TTK is a fair complaint. Not everyone will like long TTK games like this, but that's more preference than anything. I want the discussions on the game to be things that actually matter to the game that will potentially be beneficial for gameplay reasons. Game balance, map design, abilities, the overall flow of the game. So many people in the forums are just crying about the game being too woke. Boo-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥-hoo. It won't affect my gameplay so I simply do not care.

Yep. The price tag will kill the game for sure. It's just not really competitive with other options already on the market.

Its a dead game, so theres nothing to discuss. Characters sell games, none of the characters in this game are likable, not even Rule34 would pick this game up.

They just announced Splitgate 2 (free), next week we have the Marvel Rivals beta (free), Valve their hero shooter that is on the way (free).

And in the meantime you can also play games with 8 years of content like Overwatch (free) and a few others like Valorant (free) and the factions in XDefiant with their abilities (free). They also just announced a new (free) support here.

We could also discuss the demise of other hero shooters like Rocket Arena (paid), Kockout City (paid) and a few others...like Concord (the most expensive of the whole roster of games I named here to ever be released)

So just because a game takes ideas from other games means there is no gameplay? I don't know how recently you've played Overwatch or at what level but this game plays significantly more like Destiny than Overwatch. The different characters and higher TTK also significantly change how the game plays, though. So even from that perspective you're just aimlessly hating for the single reason that it's too "woke" for you. Stop trying to justify your distaste for the game as anything other than being anti-woke, because the gameplay argument just does not hold up. It's different enough from both Destiny and Overwatch to have its own feel.

Nah. Woke-ism lives rent free in these people's heads and they just cannot help themselves. Zero understanding of game design as well so any time they try to make an argument about the gameplay they just fall flat on their face. The game is far from perfect gameplay wise so I don't understand why it's so hard for them to come up with a half decent argument. It's just blind hate with zero substance.

Yep I've heard it all before. Suicide squad has an amazing movement and traversal system and solid gameplay. Can't wait to chat with you when you're still playing the game in september!
