Ha,ha... You crazy SOB, I'm in!
but yea beeing some dei crap didnt help aswell
I would bet money if the design would be cool much more people would play it. Sure, it wouldn't be anything huge but still, with Sonys marketing behind it and some really memorable characters, this would sell enough to be at least be a bit profitable...
why do you think companies spent so much on marketing to make the product seem flashy and shiny. this doesn't end with marketing. take stellar blade for example. some games are their model. replace the model with something random. the whole game isn't special anymore.
mortal kombat understood this once also very well. gameplay is important but a unique visual representation can sell just as many copies as long as the gameplay is fine.
Exactly. Sony went insane in 2018 and chased people like you and me away. Now pc reigns supreme
Exactly. I would even go as far as to make the case that even if "everything woke" disappeared overnight, you would still see the same soulless slop peddled over and over again. There's even precedent for it: TLC and The History Channel, among others, all cashing in on reality TV and driving away their original audiences, long before anyone was concerned about "wokeness."
