Why do you need to add pronouns to character screens?
I saw some gameplay and I laughed my ass of them when I noticed pronouns where added next to character name's.

Why does the presence of those words on character screens trigger you so badly?

They're words. If they bug you so much, don't read them. Problem solved.

To be fair it is needed. You've seen daw? i legit had trouble figuring out if it was supposed to be a guy or girl.

So you can report and ban bigots not using the proper pronouns for a fictional character, duh.

I think you're leaving out the part where it's shoved in your face.

Because you can't identify the gender of most of the characters just by looking at them. Because they're freaks.

Found the NPC.
Found the guy who unironically calls others NPC's.

I know which I'd rather be.

By being on the screen?

Do you think the menu is being shoved in your face? The graphics settings? Sound bar?

Maybe if the game had the skill called "Misgendering" that decreases the enemy player's stats, then it would make sense.

Just have a white male character running around deadnaming certain characters for instagib.

Coincidentally those things you named aren't part of identity politics.

Spewing the same idiotic rhetoric as so many others? Make sure its nasty and pithy so the low IQ bots can remember it?

You're an NPC because we can't tell you apart and you make the exact same statements.

That's right, it's not ironic. It's not meant to be. It's pointing out how truly pathetic we find it.

So simply by *being* pronouns on the screen, they're being shoved in your face?

If one of the character barks mentions "him" or "her," is it being shoved in your ears? If you're creating a character in Elden Ring, is it forcing identity politics upon you when you choose the male or female body type?

Can you name a single way in which this stuff is being forced on you aside from "it exists in my video game"?

Gender identity is a crucial part of our life, just because you're lucky and know what your gender identity is, don't assume everyone is that lucky.

I tried looking down to see what my gender identity could be, but since I have a belly like Daw I can't see it, that makes me very confused, sad and angry.

Take care,
