Bad internet connections, bad currency conversions, language barriers, cheaters, etc. These are all negatives for the playerbase as a whole. So a company who wants to offer their services in any country needs to create laws/rules for each nation, plus they need to translate the game to said language, then if its an online game they gotta hire people who know that language to moderate it and handle customer support tickets. Then they gotta deal with any other issues, say bad connections in poorer countries. this is fixed with local servers, which cost money. Most of the delisted nations do not bring in enough income to companies to make it worth spending the time and money needed to accomodate them.
You can say it sucks or its unfair, and im sure not every sony delisted country meets this criteria but id bet enough of them do. It always boils down to business and money thats it. If a company thinks its worth it, theyll do it. When they dont offer a product or service to a certain group, its because they dont think itll be worth it.
well because they will not handle the laughter and refunds in all regions lol. They lose enough money in the regions where it's available already
it's not fair that they're being left out of the fun
