I think the better example of a modern audience about them wanting a picture is that there is absolutely 0 logical correlation between wanting attractive characters in a fictional work vs what the person wanting that looks like irl.
But the "modern audience" is incapable of using their brains and cannot understand any other perspective and opinion than their own or think critically and/or logically.

Completely irrelevant to ask for a picture of a person wanting attractive characters/thinking the characters are visually unappealing.
