The force bubble worked for deflecting blaster fire when I used it.
Sadly I think that was how this version was designed. It kind of takes some fun and replayability out of it when there is nothing to unlock though.
It should also cause some aoe damage to nearby enemies. At least thats what it did on ps1 version. Was that removed on the dreamcast port?
- Controls a bit spongy.
- Enemies outside the map are shooting at you and you can't see them.
- - Sometimes the camera moves forward and you get stuck.
- Occasional sound failures.
- The path you should follow is sometimes difficult to see through perspectives.
This sometimes becomes a matter of luck when jumping to other platforms.
it would be good if you could run back. That would definitely prevent the camera problem
I miss the destructible theed windows and such as this opened up extra areas/ bonuses. However i feel destroying random panels just to collect points kind of slowed the pace of the game down in the original version
I know its only a small detail but i also miss the character selection screen in the jedi council that was a nice touch that they should bring back
What is an issue that hasn't been mentioned yet is the saber amplifier does nothing. You do the same damage with or without it.
It seems to still do a bit of damage when I use it, but it seems almost negligible
Enemies shoot when they are off screen, but they miss 100% of the time.
When you shoot at an enemy behind the screen - you hit (this applies to characters who have a blaster, like Amidala).
Also, for the list: on level 7, right behind the bridge, on the left, there is a bonus that is located across the screen, and you can only get it by accident if you jump outside the screen. It's very annoying, especially at this level, every point is important for achievement.
Also on this level, I managed to get caught on a platform while jumping off it and die from the collision. A very scary death for a Jedi.
And the Kaadu Race bonus level is impossible to beat, there is simply an unrealistic speed with which you have to press the buttons.
Maybe these two problems are somehow related to the refresh rate or FPS?
i did beat it :D
