list of things to repare
I tried this port at a friend's computer and it's a mess. I will not be buying Jedi Power Battles Remaster for now, and wait for it to be patched. From a very quick look:

1. Menu sound is all in left channel. I thought my headset is glitched. Did they even test the MAIN MENU of the game before release?

2. After finishing Training mode, it boots you straight to main menu and doesn't let you select training stages after, forcing you to replay from stage one. You could choose the ones you unlocked on Dreamcast. But pressing New Game after it said it would overwrite my save, so it saved progress for me but not the unlocked stages in Training?

3. Mace Windu's AoE force power (one he starts with) has his lightsaber spinning to his side instead of all around him like on PS1.

4. Adi Gallia's ranged force power (unlocked after Swamps of Naboo) simply doesn't damage enemies, it's useless. And the next level, Streets of Theed. is designed with ranged force powers in mind.

5. Your tank in Streets of Theed takes no damage. At all. It's invincible.

6. No environments are destructible, starting from computers in first stage, and later, buildings on Theed Streets or windows in Theed Palace, is this how it was on Dreamcast? You can damage that stuff on PS1, and there are power-ups behind destructible windows. Which are transparent on PlayStation. In this version, the glass is solid white, it looks like it's missing a texture.

7. After touching Queen Amidala with Adi Gallia's item move (a force shield), she died, which is a design issue in original game, but after that, instead of removing a life and bringing me to the last checkpoint, it restarted the entire level.

8. Speaking of levels, I had level select with all of them from the start. And all characters like Padme, Panaka, Maul & battle droid unlocked from the get go. Is this by design or a bug?

Since I don't have the game myself, I can't file a bug report don't even know where to post it. So I'll leave this here, and if you can test these issues and bring them up to developers, it would be really nice!

Shame this nostalgic game from my childhood gets a broken, janky port to the point I'd rather use my old CD in an emulator.

thanks dude for good report- you also forgot, mace lvl 5 saber trow is also broken by him trying to kill his own food instead of droids, some of Plo-kon combos doest have range neer as much as they should for exaple (square, square, triangle its literala stop on place in midle of spining foward)

and most important -leveling of other characters bcs by givinng character at least every lvl some buff, live , power , bonus , combos. - you just make the game more fun- its so much better play is darth maul when you can get every lvl some more combos, life, power, bonuses, then have averything from the start. and gain nothing. (life ,power , bonus)also i miss in his arsenal that spining jump attack with computer likes to use on you so much. why they not addit that idk.

There are other broken things. Plasma droids main attack doesnt even hurt you, the plasma just go through you. Also, i tried the force bubble attacks ( force + jump button ) with Obi -wan and Darth Maul and it doesnt even do anything... As it stands, the dreamcast and ps1 ports are far superior to this version. Its crazy how broken this port is...

The force bubble worked for deflecting blaster fire when I used it.

Sadly I think that was how this version was designed. It kind of takes some fun and replayability out of it when there is nothing to unlock though.

It should also cause some aoe damage to nearby enemies. At least thats what it did on ps1 version. Was that removed on the dreamcast port?

I think this is bad:

- Controls a bit spongy.

- Enemies outside the map are shooting at you and you can't see them.

- - Sometimes the camera moves forward and you get stuck.

- Occasional sound failures.

- The path you should follow is sometimes difficult to see through perspectives.
This sometimes becomes a matter of luck when jumping to other platforms.

it would be good if you could run back. That would definitely prevent the camera problem
It has save issues as well. I had to replay lvl 10 w/Qui-Gon despite beating it as it never saved my progress. Ultimate Saber mode locked itself again for me even though I had beaten lvl 14 & completed numerous lvls w/it activated afterwards. I know the game was cheap but these issues really dampen the experience.

I miss the destructible theed windows and such as this opened up extra areas/ bonuses. However i feel destroying random panels just to collect points kind of slowed the pace of the game down in the original version

I know its only a small detail but i also miss the character selection screen in the jedi council that was a nice touch that they should bring back

Number 5 is not a glitch, it's that way in all versions of the game.
What is an issue that hasn't been mentioned yet is the saber amplifier does nothing. You do the same damage with or without it.
My game crashes everytime on the first elevator in coruscant. Does anybody else have that issue ?

It seems to still do a bit of damage when I use it, but it seems almost negligible

it helps on the contrary. Have you tried to pass level 14? :)
Enemies shoot when they are off screen, but they miss 100% of the time.
When you shoot at an enemy behind the screen - you hit (this applies to characters who have a blaster, like Amidala).

Also, for the list: on level 7, right behind the bridge, on the left, there is a bonus that is located across the screen, and you can only get it by accident if you jump outside the screen. It's very annoying, especially at this level, every point is important for achievement.

Also on this level, I managed to get caught on a platform while jumping off it and die from the collision. A very scary death for a Jedi.

And don't forget about the broken Darth Maul in level 10, he shouldn't fight so fast. Now he's simply impossible to kill with some characters, for example, Plo Koon.
And the Kaadu Race bonus level is impossible to beat, there is simply an unrealistic speed with which you have to press the buttons.
Maybe these two problems are somehow related to the refresh rate or FPS?

- Ultimate lightsaber after finishing Survival Mode does not save.
